It’s been a journey. I’ve come to find with deciding that this EDC will be my fifth and final year that there’s more I want to change: more I want to do.
The recklessness has been fun but I’m not getting younger. I’m definitely not recovering as fast as I could before. I’ve found that I have lost that anxiety I always had talking to people by throwing myself out there into such a friendly, welcoming environment. I have heard all the bad stories about EDC, but why do you think some people keep going back?
The attitude of the majority of edc-goers is positive vibes and that only can come from within. And then you spread it like a wildfire.
This year was not any different. It’s an addictive feeling. I wish it wasn’t only at these events. People tell you their stories, their lives and livelihood, how they came to find this place. It’s why some of us call it Home.
Electric Daisy Carnival Las Vegas will always have a home in my heart.
I want to bring all that I’ve learned from it out of the festival. Apply it to my own life. Spread it to everyone else. I can’t say I won’t want to visit it in the future.
All that is said and done I’m on a mission of self improvement. A quest of pursuing my goals and future. Dropping some bad habits as well (picked up because of festivals funny enough).
If you still want to keep up with me, I can send you my instagram, snapchat, or facebook.
It’s been a long ride, Tumblr. Sayonara.
Love,
-Miles.
